Day 30 – What book are you reading right now?

Day 01 – A book series you wish had gone on longer OR a book series you wish would just freaking end already (or both!)

I’m going to tell you about both. A book series that I want to go on longer? As much as it shames me to admit it, I’d like more Twilight Saga. Not about Bella, although finishing “Midnight Sun” would be nice. I want to see a book from Leah’s perspective, or a book from Nessie’s perspective, when she finally does “fall” for Jake, as we know she will. Although I’d love a book from any of the werewolves perspective as well. That said, I hated the Bree Tanner book.

The series that needs to just freaking end at this point is the Antia Blake series. It just keeps dragging on and on. We need to wrap up the main plot points and end the series. LKH can write a new series with a new lead in the same universe if she wishes. Maybe even take one of Antia’s “men” and spin them off into the new series. There’s still money to be made here, but Anita’s arc needs to come to a rest already. Let the poor woman retire or die or something other than keep getting more and more powerful while having sex with more and more men.
